This design; unlike the IDEO, Re-Aktiv, Exo-Sym, and other PLS Carbon designs; allows the patient to walk with a normal gait pattern. This extends to stairs and uneven terrain.
The ability for the patient to vary their cadence with this design is unmatched. The quick ramp-up of the resistance also allows for the patient to perform higher activities like Running and Jumping, although the Active version does take this to another level.
